Mix of the day: J Rocc “Best of Quantic Mix”

Soul

Quantic is living the dream, an avid record collector, Will Holland has taken it a step further by creating music through different styles (Soul, Dub, Cumbia) and with various projects (Combo Barbaro, Quantic Soul Orchestra) reuniting legendary musicians in the process (Spanky Wilson, Alfredito Linares). He has already released an impressive discography of a dozen records and collaborated with Alice Russell, Mr Scruff and Nickodemus. I am a huge fan of his Combo Barbaro but I wanted to discover the rest of his output.

Well what better way to start than a ‘best of’ mix by legendary beatjunkie and my favorite DJ the one and only JRocc.

This mix is breezy and bright and will take you on a ride through all that Quantic has accomplished.
