I am constantly looking for new tracks and artists. I think its not only necessary to collect, but to listen to new sounds. It’s good for my mind because there are always new things to listen and new musical trips to embark upon. I stumbled on Deft, a crazy beatmaker from London, UK. I love when its someone not really known who blows me away. When I heard Get A Trimmer .. man it got me instantatly. This song is so insane, it makes me wanna do another movie. Before Vol.1 is a bunch of forgotten beats made by Deft a long time ago and I don’t know why, this EP made me think about my friends. Some of the beats are more boom bap and other more spacey, like the type of thing my friends like to create. So I dedicate this one to Manikmati, Dr. MaD, Kaytradamus and Musoni.
