Discogs to (finally) release first iOS and Android apps

Wonderful news for all you vinyl fiends, diggers and collectors. As Vinyl Factory reports, the folks at the Discogs website will finally be releasing their first official iOS and Android apps.

The most important database of information surrounding music releases – from year, pressing information, album credits and of course market value – Discogs has had a profound impact on how we dig for music and purchase it from private sellers.

For many years, Discogs have left their precious database open to a few other web platforms, like Milkcrate and Discollector who filled the void in the app market.

The app will be released early in 2016. More details to come.
