To put this short and sweet, this was probably the best “Live” / “New-kind of Dj-ing” set i’ve seen so far. Flying Lotus, the new wonderkid on the block rocked it for a little over an hour with a bass heavy, electronic, abstract hip-hop set. It was like seeing J-Dilla on crack! I mean come on!!!… some Aphex Twin, Jay Dee, Burial, Busta Rhymes and lots of his productions. Go buy his new Los Angeles LP out on Warp now! And people of Montreal! Let’s bring this man back! Damn!
