Lesette Wilson was one of the first African-American electro-funk/rock producers, besides Nona Hendryx and Patti Labelle. She was the keyboardist for the famous Tom Brown Band,who was known for his classics “Funkin’ for Jamaica” and “Thighs High”. Lesette also worked with Fela Kuti, Roy Ayers, Judias Priest, Def Leopard,and also did the score for Spike Lee’s film “Home Invaders”.”
