It’s Jay Dee‘s birthday so the “Forgotten Treasure” of the day had to be a Dilla joint of course! I wanted to do a personal top 7 of my favorite Dilla beats but I guess that’ll have to wait til’ next year. My homies Naes & Scott C did their lists though, check em’ out here. I’m posting this track because it is over 10 years old and often overlooked. It came from an entire EP produced by Dilla called “Dedication to the suckers” which came out in 1999. This is that real raw thing we call hip-hop! This used to get mad play at my night on fridays at Blizzarts!
