Future Classic: Jai Paul “Jasmine” (Demo Version)

Hollly geez. Who does this guy think he is toying with us like that?

A new nugget called “Jasmine” from British producer Jai Paul has surfaced on his soundcloud account and is as far as we know just his second track in about 2-3 years. There are other producers out there that play the mysterious card: Burial, Zomby, SBTRKT and so on. But none of them are as unproductive as Jai Paul. I mean, 2 tracks in over 3 years? But hey, what can you really say when you get hit with an absolute banger!

Like the previous track called “BTSU” (one of our favorites in 2010), “Jasmine” has an absolutely haunting quality that just leaves you feeling totally possessed.

Jai Paul is technically signed to XL Records and has been for a little while, we’re just wondering if the label backing (or pressure) will convince him to put out some more material!
