Chicago’s master beat-smith Kenny Keys, known for his work on Eulorhythmics, Beyond Luck, Lyric District and Face Melt, is back and strong with this fresh album release in collaboration with Radio Juicy.

In his new release, Kenny Keys seamlessly weaves dusty record chops of both recognizable and rare samples in classic boom-bap tradition. A tradition which is becoming increasingly hard to come by in today’s musical climate.

This Chicago-based producer keeps it alive with a chilled out combination of bouncing basslines, classic breaks, jazz keys and synths all working in harmony reminiscent of ATCQ, Pete Rock, Madlib, Jay Dee and Erykah Badu in mid 90s fashion. “Everything Must Change” paints the picture of laid back summer days, chilling on the porch with some beer, your friends and a big stack of records. Soulful!
