Music Is My Sanctuary – Europe Dates 2013

For the second year straight I’ll be doing a few dates around Europe and I can hardly wait. Getting to play these shows is something I am very grateful for and I plan to represent what Music Is My Sanctuary stands for to the best of my ability. Although I am the founder of “MIMS”, we are now a family of over 20 contributors from all over the world! A beautiful thing.

The thing that really gets me excited about all of these events is that they are all very different and that I won’t play the same set twice (not that I ever do anyway).

June 13th in Vienna will be more of a “beats” set as I’m playing with my good friend Kaytranada from Montreal! On June 14th, i’ll be playing for the second night in row in Vienna with my good friend Mr. Guan at Volksgarten Pavillon, a beautiful outdoor venue, i’m thinking this one will be all over the place musically as we play very well together. June 15th is in Paris in a night called Jazz Attitudes so you know the deal with that one: all jazzy & soulful treats.

June 19th is a night in Berlin called Beat Evolution with LeBob; this one will be more on the Hip-Hop & Funky tip. June 22nd is a very exciting one for me as I’ll be playing at the legendary Mojo Club in Hamburg (the week before me it’s Benji B and the one after it’s Mala… to give you an idea of how nervous I am!). I don’t know what I’ll be playing at that one yet but I’ve got to bring my A game!

Then, finishing the mini tour in fine fashion with 2 dates in beautiful Montenegro! June 22nd at Casper, my favorite tiny club in the world. June 29th is my very first festival gig in Europe, i’ll be playing the same day as Jazzanova and Theo Parrish!
