Music Is My Sanctuary – Podcast 023

I had a small case of the podcasters’ block this week. Was kind of feeling “meh” on most of the selections, not that there is a shortage of dope new music by any means. So, instead of the usual mish-mash radio mix style of pod I usually do, I thought I’d hook you all up with my first DISCO mix evveer!

Disco is such a misunderstood genre, people associate it with the insanely cheesy ball tunes we’ve all heard 1 million times but disco was so influencial in the evolution of Hip-Hop, Electronic music, House and so on…

There are tons of great producers putting out gems these days, from the DFA style Indie-Dance stuff to the more abstract and dubbed out Moodymann-style stuff. Hope you likey.
