It’s the dubstep event of the year in Montreal!
The styles’ two torchbearers, SKREAM and BENGA will be joined by Montreal kingpins Komodo and Dj Hosta.
I’m obviously a big fan of both these dudes but i’m not sure how good they are DJ-ing wise. In terms of production though both are not to be fucked with, Skream‘s biggest anthem is “Midnight Request Line” and Benga‘s “Night” track was Gilles Peterson‘s track of the year in 2007. As always itll be interesting to see if the “regular” piknic crowd “get it” and will be able to get into something other than minimal tech-house. Bass heads show your faces!
