Spring Record Cleaning = Done!

Just thought i’d share the joy that my record collection is finally re-organized. Half my collection was across the room and I had to empty all of the shelves to move one of my units. It took a couple hours spread over a couple days but seeing as the month of May has been absolute shite in Montreal the timing was good.

Now my collection isn’t the biggest out there, not even close to being the biggest in Montreal. But it’s the dopest! (to me of course!) No really what I like most about my collection is that a good 80% of the records that are in there I still play on a regular basis. I have very little records that I’m listening to and wondering “what were you thinking when you bought this??!!”.

Anyyyyways, so there you have it… I could spend all day talking about vinyl VS digital but if you know me and you know this site a little you’ll know that it’s not really my style. At the end of the day, it’s all about music appreciation. So if all you have are mp3′s well that’s fine, but I just hope you appreciate and love the well out of them. Beautify those ID3 tags yo!

Note: Big shout to whoever at IKEA came up with the Expedit shelves. DJs worldwide are forever in your debt.
