I’m not going to try and say anything that hasn’t been mentionned already. Quite simply, MJ was without a doubt the most talented and complete entertainer of our generation.

We are not here to judge the man on his off the stage persona, because A) none of us know the facts B) imagine what it must have been like being in the spotlight from the age of 6-7 years. So I think all of us should focus on his legacy which is the countless timeless jams!

A lot of people have been reminiscing and listing their favorite songs, with good reason of course… but I thought i’d give you something different and post my favorite Remixes & Edits (and one cover just for the hell of it)

For those who don’t know, the very thought of transferring a record collection to digital is a major pain. Sometimes I grab a stack and do a few but it takes an hour and you’ve got like 6 done… it sucks

But… i’ve come up with the idea of doing one a week and picking some of my favorites records that most peeps have never heard of. Don’t worry i’m not going for that whole this was on a Mexican pressing and there are only 2 in the world. Prince has the other one… No no, just dope shit I have lying around.

MJ vs Banzai Republic “Lougin with Jacko”

First of all I remember paying like 20$ for this record when it came out… and its got one song on it! Damn, thats pre-Internet when you could get anything for 20 cents. Well, it was worth it… cause I own this mysterious Michael Jackson Edit, in all its dubbed out, midtempo, jazzy glory. (you have to wait til’ minute 3 for the gorgeous beat drop)
