Heres’ a project thats looking real good on paper. BLAKROC is the collabo-group with Ohio Blues-Rock band THE BLACK KEYS and a really impressive line-up of hip-hop MC’s – Q-Tip, Mos Def, Jim Jones, etc…
Rap & Rock collabos are very often a total disaster but sometimes you get moments like The Roots’ “The Seed”, De La Soul’s “Falling” (on the obscure Judgment Night soundtrack) and this gem (no i’m not bigging up Aerosmith and Run DMC). Keep an eye out for the full album coming soon…
