I was watching a football game on TV, doing the guy thing… and in comes this commercial. I do a double-take and then I’m like huh… Tide commercial with Digable Planets’ “Cool like that”? ohh lord. I mean, don’t blame the Digables. If the VP of Doritos called you with a 75k check to your name you would say???
What’s next Dead Prez for Citibank? I mean marketing wise, this is genius: they will capture 100% of their target market which for this spot seems to be ’92-’94 hip-hop heads… i’m sold.
