I was just talking with my homie from Montreal HGLT last weekend about how the Juke Revival thing blew up so quick everywhere! But that’s the power of the internet right? You take two of the biggest tracks right now (Ramadanman‘s “Work Them” and Addision Groove‘s “Foot Crab”) and suddenly there is a need to call it a Juke Revival! Kinda funny really but it’s all in good fun I guess… There is certainly no need to get all cerebral about this kinda music. It’s just all good wholesome fun (except the fact that the words ass and tities are the most prevalent lyrics). FYI you young kids, Juke and all that good shit is from Detroit and Chicago, do your research! (btw, for those in Montreal my homies A-Rock and Sean Kosa were the dudes playing this stuff hard back then!)
Yes this is the most ridiculous hype bubble in ages, but you can’t argue with these dancefloor burners!
