Created in 2011 by the team behind Montreal-based website Music Is My Sanctuary, the 24 Hours Of Vinyl event is in its 9th edition. A day long musical marathon that joins a dozen talented DJ’s in a relay using only vinyl records. The event started out as a web stream only but has evolved into a live event.
Following editions from Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal the event is generating a lot of interest outside of Canada. New York, Paris, London and LA are in the works for 2014.
A marathon of musical discoveries. An event for and by music lovers: from jazz, disco, soul, hip-hop to electronic music.
The event will take place at the Bleury Vinyl Bar which has, in a very short time since its opening, become a meeting point for open-minded Montrealers who simply love great music.
