Lexis is the founder of the Music Is My Sanctuary website/collective and the 24 Hours of Vinyl worldwide event series. As a DJ, he is a pillar of the Montreal music scene and continues to tour the world. As a music curator, he champions artists and scenes through various art projects. Professionally, he works as a music supervisor for brands.
He was recently featured on the worldwide TED platform with a conference on the cultural role of the record collector community and importance of human music curation. This TED Talk has now been viewed 1 million times and translated in 20 languages.

Lexis is one of the most versatile DJ’s and record collectors out there and continues to tour clubs, festivals, radio shows where he shares the stage with artists like Thundercat, Kamaal Williams, The Comet Is Coming, Gilles Peterson, Shuggie Otis, Wally Badarou, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Floating Points .
He continues to lead his two main passion projects: Music Is My Sanctuary (est. 2007) has grown into one of the most respected independent music voices and 24 Hours of Vinyl (est. 2011) has traveled the globe with the mission of uniting local DJ’s and dancers in their love of vinyl records.
In this era where most of the music is force-fed by algorithms, he continues to build projects which aim to keep the original essence of record digger culture at the centre of musical exchanges.
