Tiff’s Joints returns for its second release with two hefty bubblers bursting with life from Deoke.
For those that don’t know, Deoke is South London’s Dave Koor, an esteemed DJ, producer and killer on the keys. He also co- runs the label Albert’s Favourites, is one half of Modified Man and plays with his band the Expansions, regularly backing up acts like Andrew Ashong and Connie Constance. “Kamby Version” first came to Tiff’s Joints’ attention back in July. The excitement was uncontrollable.
After a little persuasion, Deoke delivered the B-side, “Saskwatch Version”, both tracks tied together by their playful musicality and strong grounding in jazz. Early support comes from the likes of Alexander Nut, Brame & Hamo, Tenderlonious & Dennis Ayler. Tiff’s Joints & Deoke are celebrating the release of “The Kudu Fantasy Versions” on Sunday April 30th with their friends Theo (Champagne Funk) & Rosie (ATLAS) at a very special new venue in East London.
“The Kudu Fantasy Versions” officially releases April 21, 2017 on Tiff’s Joints
