Future Classic: Large Pro “M.A.R.S” with Cormega, Action Bronson, Roc Marciano & Saigon
Hip-hop is having a great opening to 2012 with tons of great projects from young dudes but also some of the veterans are coming through nice with some really great stuff and this one is definitely ranking in there. Couldn’t quite recall where I heard this a few months ago but I remember getting excited at the idea of these 4 MC’s actually working on a full project with Large Professor on the production duties!
So well it turns out that Cormega, Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, and Saigon won’t be doing that full LP collabo after all and this is only a one off track for the Large Pro project. Come on, we need more rap groups people! Let’s bring it back to the days of EPMD and Lords of The Underground!
This one is definitely a trip back to the early Rawkus era, but definitely not just for nostalgia’s sake. This is actually a very solid track. Well, you know us… anything with Action Bronson and we’re down.
