Forgotten Treasure: Lil’ Louis “Frequency” (1987, Dance Mania)

I had to share this with you all today because I must say that I was pretty happy to find this in a digging excursion today! And for 1$. (mouahahahha!)

I had a few Dance Mania records in my collection but this is definitely one of the better ones from the legendary and often over looked Chicago label. It’s good that records like these are getting some attention with all the hype surrounding the whole 808 revival thing with people like Addison Groove, Boddika and so on. Lil’ Louis (producer of “French Kiss”) is definitely one the early house pioneers and people need to know that!
