3 Steps To: Session Victim

For those of you that don’t know the energetic German House duo Session Victim already (have you been living under a rock??), we’ve decided to select three of their best moments to showcase what they’re all about.

Not only is the House music duo known for their extremely fun and soulful DJ sets, they’ve also become known for incorporating plenty of live elements into their performance. Watching them bounce back and forth between drum machines, bass guitars, synthesizers, effect racks and the likes is quite the spectacle and adds an entirely new layer to the club atmosphere!

Step 1

To kick things off right we thought showing Session Victim in action live would be a good place to start, and their 2015 performance for Boiler Room & Generator in Hamburg captures them perfectly.

Step 2

One of their most popular tracks entitled “Good Intentions” off of Release Records’ 2011 “Treats Vol. 3” compilation shows off their style with a track on wax.

Like we said earlier, Session Victim aren’t only known for live instrumentation but are a fantastic DJ duo as well. Their recorded set from the Delusions Of Grandeur Exposé at Berlin’s Prince Charles venue wonderfully showcases their positive and uplifting musical taste and includes sounds from the crowd to amplify the experience!
