Ahead of its release at the end of the week on the mighty First Word Records, MIMS is excited to share “Guili”, an undeniably bodymoving disco funk bomb by Paris/Caen based duo DJ Soulist & Fulgeance.
French slang for “tickle”, ‘GUILI’ is an epic disco-funk piece inspired by the likes of Azymuth, Herbie Hancock and Marcos Valle, but incorporated with Souleance’s trademark sounds of fuzzy bass-heavy electronica, synths and samples, giving the track a fresh contemporary twist.
The forthcoming EP features another cracking song, “Torro” and a remix of “Guili” by Art of Tones. Look out for a limited vinyl 45 too!
