My Favorite Things

MY FAVORITE THINGS #01 – Hosted by Psycut (France)

Eclectic

The title of the show is, of course, a tribute to John Coltrane, one of my all-time influences.
A monthly journey of my musical landscape where I share my latest discoveries!

Heavily influenced by my love for Soul, Folk and Jazz this first edition of the My Favorite Things mix represents my musical journey as a whole. The opening leans on shades of Nu Soul, classic Boom Bap Hip-Hop leading into a mini-tribute to Large Professor and then a 70’s Soul & Funk vibe.

The second part is a bit more dance-floor oriented and is consistent with the vibe of my club night in Paris called Jazz Attitudes. It weaves between Nu Jazz, Broken Beat and Jazz Funk.
