My Favorite Things

MY FAVORITE THINGS #02 – Hosted by Psycut (France)

Eclectic

Hello dear friends! Here is my last edition of “My Favorite Things” for 2016 following the same formula that MIMS has always been about, the balance between “Future Classics & Forgotten Treasures”

The mix opens with a mellow and festive vibe with the amazing Soulful 45′ from the New Holidays singing “Maybe So, Maybe No” covered recently by Mayer Hawthorne and an amazing cover of Jon Lucien’s “Would You Believe In Me” by Marker Starling. Also a 100% brand new Jazzy Hip-Hop opens the up tempo section of the mix with a dynamic cover version of Stevie Wonder’s “For Once In My Life” by Alice Russell. The mix continues on a vibe close to my Jazz Attitudes Nights in Paris paying tribute to some of the great music in 2016 from New Jazz, Broken Beat, Brasilian Jazz and a new release to close things out: Reggae Soul Made in Paris with Courtney John’s “Strangers”.
