Whenever I hear so much hype about an artist I usually take a bit of time and let some time pass before I sit down and listen to it. I finally gave Kendrick Lamar a shot this week and listened to his record called “Section 80” a couple times. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised at what this Compton, California MC brings. Very fresh.
