Mutual Intentions “Cassette #2”
Cassette #2 is the second compilation from the Norwegian record label Mutual Intentions. Since their first cassette compilation (which is sold out!), they have expanded their roster with beatmaker Ol’ Burger Beats and producer Jawn Rice.
Compared to the first, the feature-list is slightly bigger and includes some more known names in the game. After booking Suff Daddy and Sofie to their label night in Oslo (Jan 27th, 2017), the two pillars of the worldwide beat scene were kind enough to each lend a track to the compilation.
The four new tracks premiering today go in four different directions when it comes to sound: Ol’ Burger Beats features great mc’s Jeremiah Jae and Oliver The 2nd to contribute to his jazzy beat, Ivan Ave jumped on a Fredfades beat, SRAW did a great Queen Latifah remix and to close it off Suff Daddy did a groovy collaboration with jazz musician Kristoffer Eikrem on the trumpet.
