Forgotten Treasure: The Time “Get it up” (1981)

Little 80’s Boogie action to start the week nicely. For those who didn’t know The Time was a group in the 80s consisted of some of Prince’s entourage and musicians but most notably Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis (the decade most prolific production duo).

Anyyyywho, bought this record in Toronto for 1$ about 5 years ago and last time I checked on Ebay it was still only worth a dollar. This record is slept on, but the kind of gold you find in dollar bins sometimes. But I like it, and when I play it in front of a packed dancefloor who know what’s up it works like crazy. And that’s the point innit?
