So, us here at Music Is My Sanctuary are almost 100% sure that this is a lost tape of Dam-Funk‘s, although we don’t want to start spreading rumours or anything. However, Dam-Funk’s middle name is Garrett… so we’ll just leave it at that. Regardless of who it is behind the mask, this record is fantastic! Something to glide to, something to get you in the zone – that’s what it’s all about right?

A big shoutout goes to Music From Memory for delivering yet another 100% perfect release. The Amsterdam based label was set up in 2013 by Abel Nagengast, Jamie Tiller and Tako Reyenga. “Our focus is on compiling music that we believe deserves a wider audience than it received at the time of it’s release or has maybe never even been heard; unreleased material which has remained only in the archives of the musicians who made it.”
