Exclusive Premiere: Terry Tester “Zaw” (Creak Inc.)

Copenhagen’s Terry Tester (Brownswood / BBE) merges his love for Midwest House and Cosmic Funk on his latest four-tracker “Space Million” for Creak Inc.

Here on the A1, ‘Zaw’ is a jacked up and heavily swung cosmic glide which perfectly bridges Terry Tester‘s influences for the EP. Besides working in a party atmosphere, this could also fit coming out of the car radio while cruising top-down in the summer sun.

Within Terry Tester’s two-decade long career as a turntablist and beatmaker his eminent take on House, Hip Hop and Soul was commissioned by Gilles Petterson for the “Bubblers” compilation series on Brownswood Recordings on the track ‘Jahi’ featuring the legendary Neo-Soul singer Dwele, and Marc Mac (4Hero, Visioneers, Nu Era) on BBE remixing alongside DJ Jazzy Jeff, as well as releasing two full-length solo albums “Horses and Diamonds” and “Short Suite”.
