Guest Mix #43: BLUEPRINT (This Is Tomorrow, Luxembourg)

Jazz Soul

Luxembourg’s DJ Blueprint has been of our favorite heavy digging DJ’s for a long time now. We actually met him in the days of Myspace and if we remember correctly we think he even was in our top 8! He tends to focus on vintage grooves (Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Reggae, Latin, Jazz) and is a very good producer.

– Blueprint: “This selection is not about the perfect blend or turntable tricks. This is about the music, just good music. For this mix I dug deep into the European grooves from the 60s and 70s. A time when a lot of american jazz musicians came to Europe to search for a new inspiration.

A time where a lot of european musicians worked with their idols and learned from their mistakes. Some of these tracks have been sampled but I’m sure there’s loads more to discover.”
