Its weird because when I discovered this group it was when they release a cover of a “Houstanlavagas” by Drake. And people who know me personally know that I’m not the biggest fan of the guy, in fact I make fun of him all the time.
But Sonnymoon did an awesome cover that was way better than the original. Their latest album was “Golden Age” back in 2010, it was about time for some new stuff. It’s just an EP for now but the growth is great since the last album. The 5 track “2012” EP feels like being in a spaceship with mermaids (yes, listen to it, it’ll make sense!). Anna Wise, the singer has a great voice that goes perfectly with that 80’s spacey trip, which I really enjoyed the ride.
