Classic Mixes: Theo Parrish “Methods of Movement” (2000)

For anyone who likes Disco, Soul, Detroit Techno, Abstract stuff and all around good music… you should already know Theo Parrish. Since the mid-90′s he’s built his place amongst electronic music royalty (along with the countless Detroit legends).

Theo Parrish brings the goods to the table on this 10+ year old mix CD, blending in more obscure tracks of old soul, house, Afro-beat, and disco. While the sound quality isn’t amazing in a couple parts of the mix, this is attributed to the fact that most of these records are rare and out of print. Essential for those who want to see the future of house DJs re-educate those about the past.
