Future Classic: 1000names “Kaleidoscope”

J Dilla and crew’s influence can safely be deemed international, having established a presence in the far reaches of Eastern Europe -Sofia, Bulgaria.

1000names are two Bulgarian DJ/producers who grew up listening to a slew of Stones Throw artists. Incorporating slivers of Balkan elements into their music, they’ve woven a tenacious fabric of broken beat and glitch hop that has gotten the attention of Los Angeles-based organization dublab and BBC’s Worldwide radio show host Gilles Peterson.
