Hmmm. Good ol’ Digable Planets… This was the third single off one of my favorite records of all-time “Reachin” (1993) with a great sample from Curtis Mayfield. After two records in 2 years and winning a Grammy for “Blowout Comb” in 1994. Their career ended abruptly and they never recorded anything after that but for for the mid-90’s jazzy hip-hop vibe period they were pretty much on top with Tribe Called Quest.
Finally did see the Digs perform in Montreal about 4-5 years ago and it was aweeeesome!
