Exclusive Premiere: Ouri “Free State Of Chaos”

It’s always exciting to share music from our homebase of Montreal, Canada and this one certainly is that. “Re:Conceive” is a great social project that aims to help indigenous women, refugees and immigrants in the city. It’s also a super dope compilation featuring 20 exclusive jams from some of the city’s best and brightest talents.

What better way to kick off this outstanding compilation than with a track from our dear friend Ouri who smashes it on this acid workout!

About Re:Conceive

A stacked roster of Montréal based electronic musicians have pooled their blood, sweat, and tears in order to raise money for indigenous women, refugees and immigrants in the city on a new compilation, Re:Conceive.

In response to the right wing government of Québec, which has slashed immigration levels, cancelled 18,000 immigration applications in 2019 alone, prohibited religious symbols and dress among public workers(while the political halls of the province are literally covered in crucifixes), and espoused an ethos of white nativist monoculturalistic historically amnesiatic xenophobia, this compilation was organized.

Some of the noted contributing artists are Ouri, Tati au Miel, Moonstarr, Racine, and Feu St. Antoine (1/2 of Essaie Pas). All revenue generated by this compilation will be split 50/50 between The Native Women’s Shelter of Montréal and The Just Solutions Clinic.
