Future Classic: Omar “Dancing” (K15 Remix)

Beats

There are tons of reasons why this is an easy choice for our Future Classics section. Here are a few.

1) When an up and coming producer tackles a classic it usually leaves us a bit unimpressed. But not in this case.  London’s K15 takes Omar’s carnival anthem “Dancing” (originally produced by Zed Bias / Maddslinky) and takes it to a different place, injecting the perfect elements that just make you wanna play the original and the remix back to back.

2) Because we’re loving the whole revival of the Broken Beat movement right now. Pioneers like Dego and his 2000Black label are still going strong and it seems like the early 2000’s sound of London is coming back!

3) K15 is definitely someone who we are paying a close attention too after his great ‘Insecurities’ EP on Wild Oats. Definitely on the Watch out in 2015 list!

And just a reminder… OMAR is down with MIMS 🙂
