During the evening of September 8th, Morocco experienced a catastrophic earthquake with a magnitude of 7, making it the most powerful quake the nation has witnessed in a century. This tragic event has left the country mourning the tragic loss of nearly 3,000 lives and causing injuries to over 5,000 people.
The earthquake caused the complete or partial collapse of 50,000 houses and had a significant impact on more than 300,000 people, according to assessments by the World Health Organization (WHO). As a result, families are now in dire need, with their homes and crucial infrastructure severely damaged.
Headed by renowned musician and producer Polyswitch, nine Moroccan artists have come together to contribute their talents in a collective effort called “MUSIC FOR RELIEF”. Their aim is to provide support to the communities affected by the catastrophic event.
