Forgotten Treasure: Home Team “Pick it up” (1992)

Seeing as I’m in Florida for a few days, I thought I’d hook up a few down south selections. Not that Florida is known for having the most cutting edge and interesting stuff i’m sure I can manage to dig up a few interesting oddities.

Home Team (formerly known as Poison Clan) were a southern rap group signed on Luke Records. Yes, as in Luke Skywalker of 2 Live Crew. “Pick it up” is probably one of the only Florida records where the Miami Bass sound meets the classic East Coast sound of the 90’s. Love this joint, it’s one of my secret weapons.
