MadD3E is a surgically precise producer hailing from Rome.
As is always the case, Voyage Funktastique has scoured the world map to bring us the finest global Future Funk in the planet, and the new “Split Series #3” is no exception. The musical build up to “Bounce Right” surprises right out the gate and leads to a beautifully crafted Boogie banger. MadD3E attention to detail is evident in how his music is constructed and how his vocals are integrated.
A similar and even slicker approach is used for the slow-burner “P For Popping” which takes us through a late night stroll on the coastline to a back-alley showdown for dancer to get it poppin’. The vivid imagery MadD3E can generate with his calculated synths and sounds makes him stand out from the scene and, like with anything VF brings to our ears, the definitive Funk factor is still the focal point.
With this quality standard and his locked in knack for grooves, the young producer is definitely one to watch out for.
